The one-day motorway vignette was introduced in Slovakia from August 1, 2023.
This motorway vignette will be valid on the day of purchase, as opposed to the 24-hour validity used in Hungary and other countries.
In Slovakia, in addition to the one-day motorway vignette, the annual sticker, which was valid until the end of the given calendar year, will be discontinued. Instead, 365-day motorway vignette is still available.
The 10-day motorway vignette will also remain.
A similar one-day motorway vignette system exists in other countries, such as the Czech Republic and Austria, and has been available in Hungary since the beginning of April.
